When the news of Aishwarya Ra Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor being paired together first came out, I’ll say I had my inhibitions about it. And no I’m not an ageist, it’s just that the two didn’t seem to belong together. Obviously, my doubts were washed off the moment I caught glimpse of the two onscreen. And if you’ve seen the trailer, which I’m sure you have, you’d know that the duo’s sizzling chemistry was enough to set the frame ablaze.
Working their magic once agian the duo recently featured on the cover of Filmfare magazine and to say they looked hot would be an insult. The one thing that the shoot confirmed is that the two have their style games as on-point as their chemistry, courtesy of their stylists Manish Malhotra (for Ash) and Archana Walavalkar (for Ranbir).
Given that Aishwarya was styled by Manish, it was expected that we’ll be seeing some super amaze looks of the diva. And so we did. For her solo shoot, Manish picked out an ONLY tunic with a high-low hem and teamed it up with a sequinned crop top from his own collection. Adding a chic flavour to the attire were Ash’s ripped jeans from Bebe.
The actress’ long tresses were styled in gorgeous beach waves by hair stylist Senera Radaelli. Makeup artist Mickey Contractor finished off the diva’s look with a nude makeup that accentuated her beautiful features in the most natural-loking manner. Ash retained her hair and makeup through out the shoot.
Archana too did a fab job with Ranbir who donned a Zegna suit with a knee-length trench and a white tank top by Abhishek Paatni. His ensemble was teamed up with a pair of white Zara sneakers. Makeup artist Ajay Naik and hairstylist Aalim Hakim also deserve duo credit in Ranbir’s dapper-looking avatar.
